Rock Island Mysteries (originally announced as Taylor's Island[1]) is an Australian comedy television show for children and young teenagers, which premiered on 10 Shake on 2 May 2022 and the pay-television Nickelodeon channel on the following day. It follows the adventures of Taylor's group of friends, who explore Rock Island.[2]
The series was renewed for a second season in October 2022, which will premiere on 25 September 2023 on Nickelodeon (previously branded as 10 Shake).[3][4]
On May 6, 2024, the series was renewed for a third season.[5]
Production
The twenty part series was filmed on the Gold Coast and Port Douglas, Queensland in 2021 for season 1, and on the Gold Coast and in Helensvale, Queensland from 2022–2023 for season 2. It was a FremantleMedia Australia production for Network 10 and Nickelodeon International.[1]
The series was created by Matthew Cooke, Vincent Lund and Michael Ford. It was written by script producer Stephen Vagg, with writers Sam Carroll, Alix Beane, David Hannam, Marisa Nathar, Natesha Somasundaram, Trent Roberts, Jessica Brookman and Hannah Samuel.[6]
In October 2022, Network 10 and Nickelodeon announced the show had been renewed for a second season, which is set to premiere on 25 September 2023.[7][3][4]
On May 6, 2024, it was announced that the series has been renewed for a third season.[8][5]
