Haploryhmä X on mitokondrion DNA:han perustuva ihmisen äitilinjan haploryhmä. Ryhmä on eriytynyt haploryhmästä N noin 30 000 vuotta sitten.
Intiaaneilla on haploryhmää X2, jolla ei ole mitään tekemistä Aasian X2-ryhmien kanssa.[1]
