Matasuentha

Matasuentha atau Matasuntha adalah putri dari Eutharic dan Amalasuntha. Ia adalah saudara kandung dari Athalaric, Raja Ostrogoth. Matasuentha menikahi Vitiges, dan selanjutnya Vitiges menjadi raja.

Pada masa awal Perang Goth, ia dan suaminya ditangkap oleh Belisarius. Mereka dibawa ke Konstantinopel. Setelah meninggalnya Vitiges, Germanus, sepupu Kaisar Yustinianus I, menikahi Mathesuentha. Pernikahan mereka dikaruniai anak yang juga bernama Germanus. Setelah meninggalnya Germanus, Matasuentha memutuskan untuk tetap menjadi janda.^[1]
