Battle for the Planet of the Apes (sh. Bitka za planetu majmuna) je američki science fiction film snimljen 1973. godine u režiji J. Leeja Thompsona. Predstavlja nastavak filma ''Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, odnosno peti i posljednji dio originalne serije o Planeti majmuna. Radnja se događa nekoliko decenija nakon apokaliptične pobune čovjekolikih majmuna koja je dovela do nuklearnog rata i uništenja civilizacije. Protagonist, koga tumači Roddy McDowall, je Caesar, nekadašnji vođa pobunjenih majmuna koji sada pokušava izgraditi majmunsku civilizaciju, te se zalaže za miroljubivu koegzistenciju preživjelim ljudima, a čemu se protive kako gorile iz njegovog tabora, tako grupa mutiranih ljudi koji su se sklonili u podzemlje i raspolažu sa nuklearnom bombom.
