The City on the Edge of Forever (sh. Grad na rubu vječnosti) je 28. epizoda američke SF-serije Zvjezdane staze premijerno prikazana 6. aprila 1967. godine. Radnja prikazuje kako dr. McCoy prilikom jedne misije u nastupu delirija prođe kroz vremensko-prostorni portal i završi u New Yorku 1930. godine, te kako njegove akcije u prošlosti izazovu poremećaj vremensko-prostornog kontinuuma, odnosno pobjedu nacističke Njemačke u Drugom svjetskom ratu, a zbog čega Kirk i Spock moraju ići za njim kako bi "ispravili" vremensku liniju. The City je bila poznata po izuzetno kompliciranoj produkciji, odnosno scenariju Harlana Ellisona koji se pisao deset mjeseci, kao i svađi Ellisona sa tvrocem serije Geneom Roddenberryjem. Usprkos toga je postigla ne samo izuzetnu gledanost, nego i izuzetne pohvale od strane kritike, te prestižnu nagradu Hugo za najbolju dramsku prezentaciju. Danas se smatra jednom od najboljih epizoda Zvjezdanih staza.
